Join us for an overview of the new ANSI/IES RP-47-23 Recommended Practice: Landscape Lighting. We will review exterior lighting overall and discuss recommendations for responsible DarkSky friendly landscape lighting, along with a summary of RP-47 including: the landscape lighting design process, equipment, maintenance, nature and human interactions, special design considerations, and techniques.

Kathryn Toth is an award-winning architectural and landscape lighting designer who creates artistic lighting solutions. Her projects include exterior, landscape, retail, commercial, and residential projects around the globe. Working to develop the visual atmosphere and enhance the space is her specialty. Kathryn is an active and instrumental member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Landscape Lighting committee, the IES Outdoor Nighttime Environments (ONE) committee, DarkSky International, and the International Landscape Lighting Institute (ILLI).
