Presenters
Rachel Fitzgerald is Senior Principal and Discipline Lead for Lighting at Stantec. With over 20 years of award‑winning work, she blends sustainability, technology, and human well‑being across workplace, education, civic, and mixed‑use projects. Rachel chairs the IALD Membership Committee, advises on the WELL Building Standard’s Light concept, serves on the ArchLight Summit advisory board, and NeoCon Program Review Board. A recognized speaker and writer, she is passionate about advancing lighting design through education, collaboration, and forward-thinking solutions.
Anne Kustner Haser is President and Design Principal of AKLD Lighting Design, an award-winning architectural lighting design firm. She has crafted lighting solutions for diverse applications and environments across local, national, and international markets. Her completed projects span corporate offices, hospitality venues, retail spaces, municipal buildings, healthcare facilities, houses of worship, educational institutions, high-end residences, galleries, exterior facades, and landmark structures. Many of these projects have achieved LEED, WELL Building, Living Building Challenge, or Declare certification. Anne brings both a refined aesthetic sensibility and deep technical expertise to every project she undertakes.
