IES Industry Progress Report
2026 Submissions Now Open
The IES is looking for significant new advancements in lighting products, research, publications, and design tools from the past year. Submit your entries now for consideration in the 2026 IES Industry Progress Report.
The mission of the Progress Committee is to keep in touch with developments in the art and science of lighting throughout the world and prepare a yearly report of achievements for the Society. Acceptance is based on an impartial judging process used by the committee to evaluate each submission on its uniqueness, innovation and significance to the lighting industry.
Submissions accepted into the Industry Progress Report will be:
- Presented during the Progress Report at the annual IES Lighting Conference
- Posted on the IES website
- Presented in a post IES Lighting Conference webinar
- Awarded a presentation-grade certificate
- Published in LD+A
- Receive an electronic seal for use in marketing materials
- Available in a slide show or video format for section meetings
